The journey began with the Vietnam Child Protection & Safeguarding Summit, bringing together 200+ attendees, speakers and panelists across two keynotes and 17 sessions. By connecting diverse professionals, organisations and perspectives, the Summit created a space for learning, collaboration and collective action — laying the groundwork for what would grow into the Vietnam Wellbeing & Safeguarding Summit.

Building on the inaugural Summit, the 2024 Vietnam Child Protection & Safeguarding Summit expanded its reach to 450+ participants across sectors and organisations. With six keynote speakers and 25 breakout sessions, the event explored emerging and critical issues in child protection and wellbeing, while creating opportunities for professionals to learn, connect and share best practices. The growing participation reflected a shared commitment to strengthening safeguarding practice and creating safer environments for children and young adults.

In 2025, the Summit evolved into the Vietnam Child Wellbeing and Safeguarding Summit, bringing together 600+ participants from across Vietnam. Co-hosted by RMIT Vietnam, AmCham Vietnam, Saigon International Schools Network and the American University in Vietnam, the event created a space for professionals and experts to learn, connect and exchange perspectives, reflecting the growing collective commitment to advancing the wellbeing and safeguarding of children and young people.

The 2025 Vietnam Wellbeing & Safeguarding Summit brought together 500+ delegates across Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to exchange insights, share good practice and strengthen approaches to wellbeing and safeguarding. Held across RMIT University Vietnam’s Saigon South and Hanoi campuses, the Summit marked a new chapter in its journey, bringing together professionals and organisations from across sectors to advance wellbeing and safeguarding practice in Vietnam.
